Rosemary is my go-to herb for mental clarity with stress relief

Breathing in rosemary essential oil helps prevent the breakdown of acetylcholine, a brain chemical connected with thinking, concentration and memory.

Do you ever find yourself having “brain fog”, because of lack of sleep, hormonal changes, stress, too much time on the computer, long working hours, multi-tasking, or even sudden life changes?

Yes?… Me too!… and here is my go-to herb in those moments: ROSEMARY.

Rosemary has the ability to calm the body while energizing the mind. It is found to significantly enhance the quality of memory and increase mental alertness. It also has powerful effects on mood, pain, anxiety, and sleep.

If I have a plant close by, I’ll just cut a small branch, crush it in my hands, cup my hands over my nose and breathe in this beautiful, stimulating aroma. And repeat as often as needed (the same branch can be reused throughout the day).

Or I’ll add a few drops of rosemary essential oil to my diffuser. If I need to relax, I’ll blend it with lavender. If I need a bit more energy, I’ll mix:
5 drops of rosemary
3 drops of lemon
1 drop of basil
